    U.S. Army Signal Corps. THEODOLITE ML-47-R /David White with Case RARE 1940's?.
    This instrument called THEODOLITE ML-47-R was used my the United States Army to sight aerial ballons. Believe its from thr early 1940's. The instrument is in really good condition, not sure if it works fully, a light comes on once i put the 2 Batteries (Size D) But thats all i know , great for any collector of Military items.     The Case shows some damage on top refer to photos, the wood is pulling up in the top corner other than that that case has handle and locking hooks in place.
